Funding Available
There are two types of funding available, Main Programme and Business Growth Small Grant Scheme.

Main Programme - The Leader 4 Torridge and North Devon Programme will fund new and innovative projects which contribute to the programme objectives and meet the needs of the area. If you wish to apply for a grant under the main programme, you will first need to fill in and submit an Initial Project Outline form. With the information you provide, an officer will contact you to discuss your idea further and if eligible, will help you through the application process.
The programme will prioritise projects and activities which meet sustainable development and low carbon criteria and all applications will be subject to appraisals, including an independent environmental appraisal. Applications are considered by the Local Action Group at its regular meetings which are held every six weeks (click here for meeting dates and application deadlines).
All projects will require public or private funding to match the grant. The amount of grant available will depend on the type of activity, ranging from £5,000 to £100,000. Project funding will be limited to a maximum of three years. Applicants can be from the community, voluntary, business or public sectors.
